Frequently Asked Questions

  • The number of children and pets in the home will determine how many times per year you should get your carpets professionally cleaned. If you have a full family with a few pets and kids, the carpet needs to be cleaned more often than an elderly couple with no pets or children. The minimum should be once a year to keep up with your carpet warranty.

  • We ask that all breakable items be removed from items we will be moving, such as night stands, or end tables. Please vacuum thoroughly if possible.

  • YES! Residential carpet cleaners are met to be used in between professional cleanings. We clean the carpet with 230 degree water and design pre-sprays for your specific carpet fiber. We can also add deodorizers for your pet cleaning needs. We also have more suction on our truck mount that sucks all the dirt out of your carpet.

  • You can walk on your carpets right away, but avoid walking on them with your bare feet. When walking on freshly cleaned carpets, oils from your feet will bond with the carpet fibers.

  • After a cleaning the carpets will take 3-6 hours to dry. We can leave fans, which can dry the carpets in less than two hours!

  • All of our cleaning agents are pet-friendly, child-friendly and eco-friendly. The only time we have to use harsh cleaning agents would be to remove fingernail polish, paint, oil or grease.

CARPET CLEANING FAQs

UPHOLSTERY FAQs

  • We recommend it twice a year if possible. Think about how often you sit on your furniture. Sweat, dirt and human dander gets on your upholstery. Now think about how often you wash your clothes – pretty often, right? This is why we recommend cleaning upholstery often.

  • We ask that all breakable items be removed from items we will be moving, such as night stands, or end tables. Please vacuum thoroughly if possible.

TILE & GROUT FAQs

  • We recommend it once a year.

  • Move all breakables and smaller items off of your tile.

  • You’ll be able to walk on your floors immediately.

  • We always recommend sealing the grout. Grout is porous and can be discolored if not sealed.

AIR DUCT FAQs

  • If you don’t remember ever having your duct work cleaned or if you haven’t within the past 3 years, it’s probably time. If your duct work has been cleaned in the past, you will typically find access panels installed on the supply and return main lines near the furnace. Remove a vent cover – ones near the floor are easiest to remove. Take a look inside with a flashlight!

  • No, the vacuum remains inserted in the trunk line throughout the process so under normal circumstances dust is sucked up in the vacuum. Most people notice a significant decrease in dust after their air ducts have been cleaned.

  • Cleaning takes 3-4 hours.

  • Once a year at a minimum. Clients with large families may want to do it twice a year.

  • We clean dryer vents in all commercial and residential settings.

  • Normally the service takes about an hour. If there is a clog it could take up to two hours.

WATER EXTRACTION FAQs

  • Water extraction is the extraction of standing water in order to (hopefully) prevent structural damage.

  • The longer standing water stays on the your floors, the more damage it will cause to your home or office.

  • We work with several restoration companies to help combat any chance of mold and help repair the areas.

DRYER VENT FAQs

HOUSE CLEANING FAQs

  • It depends! For good maintenance with every day life happening, we suggest once a month. The more dirt tends to pile up, the harder it becomes to clean.

  • We have some of the best cleaning products in the industry designed in Middlefield. They are safe for humans and pets, and give off that fresh clean home feeling.

  • It might be best to have the home cleared so we can give it room to air out. However, as long as we have the space to clean and keep it clean, you may stay home!
